Copyright Policy
Effective date: 22 September 2026
Celebrium respects copyright. This policy explains what we publish, what we do not, how to tell us about material you believe infringes your rights, and what happens when you do.
It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. What we publish
Every course in the Celebrium catalogue is written and owned by us. We are a publisher, not a marketplace. We do not resell anyone else's courses, and the Service does not let a user publish a course to other users at large.
Where a course teaches a published curriculum, we write our own lessons, our own worked examples and our own questions. A curriculum is a list of what must be taught; it is not the teaching. We may say that a course follows a curriculum, and we may match the structure, format and mark allocation of a public examination, because those are not protected by copyright. We do not reproduce anyone else's examination questions, textbook text or artwork.
2. Material you provide
You may build a private course from study material you already have the right to use. That course is private to you, and you may share it with specific people you invite. It is never added to the Celebrium catalogue.
You are responsible for the material you provide, and you confirm you hold the rights to it (see Terms, Section 5.3). If you do not hold those rights, please do not use the material here.
3. Reporting material you believe infringes your copyright
If you own a copyright, or are authorised to act for the owner, and you believe material on Celebrium infringes it, email us:
contact@celebrium.ai
Please include all of the following, so we can act without coming back to you:
- Your name, postal address, email address and telephone number.
- Identification of the work you say has been infringed. If there are several, a list is fine.
- Identification of the material on Celebrium you are complaining about, and where to find it, such as the page address, the course name and the lesson.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Please send a complete notice. An incomplete one delays us acting on it.
4. What we do about it
- We acknowledge a complete notice within 3 working days.
- We investigate, and where we agree the material infringes, we remove or disable access to it, usually within 10 working days of a complete notice.
- We tell the person who provided the material that we have removed it, and why.
- Where the material is one of our own courses, we correct or withdraw the course.
We may remove material while we are still investigating, if that is the responsible thing to do.
5. If you think we got it wrong
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you hold the rights after all, email contact@celebrium.ai with your name and contact details, identification of what was removed and where it was, and a statement of why you believe it was removed in error.
We will review it, and where we agree, restore the material and tell you.
6. Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Where an account is the subject of repeated, substantiated copyright complaints, we close it, and the person may not open another. We apply this to paying and non-paying accounts alike.
7. Misuse of this process
Reporting material you do not hold rights to, in order to have it removed, is itself a wrong and may make you liable to the person whose material you had removed. We keep a record of the notices we receive.
